Sárvár Thermal Ltd.

Thermal water found at the beginning of the 1960ies lead to the opening of the town spa in the year 1968 which operated under the name of Town Spa and Camping as an institution founded by the municipality of Sárvár.

Since the 1^st July 2000. it is operating under the name of Sárvár Thermal Spa Ltd. as an economic organisation belonging 100% to the municipality. It had a starting capital of 878 million HUF, which now exceeds 3.079 billion HUF. The operations of the Ltd. are controlled by five head strong Board. The Sárvár Thermal Spa Ltd. has been operating the Thermal and Wellnes Spa, the four star VitalMed Hotel inside the Spa area, having 26 rooms, and the Thermal Camping**** with 90 parking places, all implemented in the year 2002 as a large-scale green field investment.

The main activities of the company include:

Services improving the physical condition (spa services, providing wellness treatments, fitness services)
medical services (providing medical treatments)
hotel services
camping services
renting

The returns of the company 2009 exceeded 1.227 billion HUF. The Medical and Wellness Spa had 529.417 visitors last year, which is 3% more than 2008. The VitalMed Hotel had an annual utilisation exceeding 90%.

The Sárvár Medical Spa Ltd. had 126 employees last year. 38% work in the medical and wellness division, 22% in the spa, 13 % at the places of accommodation run by the company.

Nearly 70% of our employees are women. 25% of our employees have a language examination, however, 85% of our colleagues, dealing with guests on a daily basis, are able to communicate in a foreign language.
